If you’ve never climbed before this 4-hour introductory course is the ideal way to get yourself started. You will learn:

• basic introduction to top rope sport rock climbing;
• basic introduction to simple belay and rappel techniques;
• basic outdoor climbing safety measures;
• how to use equipment;
• basic climbing top rope movement and holding techniques.

Morning & Afternoon Half Day Rock Climbing Itinerary:

•  Hotel pick up (optional)
• Arrive at Real Rocks shop for check in and gear fitting
• Transfer by taxi and long tail boat to Railay Beach (for customers on mainland only)
•  Rock climbing on the beach
• End of climbing activity, (return by long tail boat to Ao Nang/Krabi town)

• Longtail boat tickets to/from Railay Beach for customers on the mainland (N/A for customers staying on Railay Beach)

What to bring/wear:

• small day backpack
• comfortable, loose clothing for climbing;
• sun protection

• waterproof bag and rain jacket (recommended for the rainy season)
• closed toed shoes
• refillable water bottle
• sandals or trekkers footwear for the ‘Full Day’ or ‘Family Fun’ trip to the caves

Trip recommendation :

•  In order to join this trip the participants should be in good physical health and free of any limitations that could affect their safe use of the equipment.
• The trip is not recommended for pregnant women , child under 5 year old and people with surgical history less than 6 months or with hypertension , asthma , infectious diseases.
• Available for adults and children between 5 – 65 year old and age of 5-14 years old under parents or adults’ close supervision.
• Wear comfortable shoes. No flip flop allowed. Sandals with strap are allowed.
• Wear light clothing on the trip
• Please leave your valuable belongings at your hotel , we will not take responsibility for any lost or damage.
